The siblings stood around the bed while Parth laid against the headrest of the bed. "What happened to you" asked Purvi. "Rishi Manvik happened" said Parth in simple terms as his expressions stayed Nonchalant. "Dad?" Prihan finally spoke with slight disbelief hanging in his voice, He hoped his dad had finished his redemption. Parth shifted slightly against the headrest and hissed under his breath at the sting in his side.
"Yes, Our father, The same man you think has softened over the years, He knocked me down like I was a goddamn paper doll". Purvi scoffed and said, "He wouldn’t hurt you unless you provoked him, so what did you do?". Parth let out a humourless laugh then winced, "Of course you'd ask that, Not what he did but what I did, That's exactly why you’ll be next” said Parth giving a reality check. Purvi raised an eyebrow, "Excuse me?".
